A brief history of Berkshire Trout

The farm was established over 100 years ago and today it boasts over 60 ponds covering 19 acres, making it one of the largest and most sustainable re-stocking trout farms in England.  The ponds are low stocked so the fish can live and grow as they would do in wild conditions. The farm is fed by the River Dun whose chalk spring source is only seven miles away. Two pure spring brooks also feed the supply. The topographical position of the Farm, near Hungerford, is unique.
